I have lost all motivation for School.

Recently my pregnancy has started to take a lot out of me. I'm currently doing correspondents at home, currently doing an English course. Normally, this is my strongest subject. But lately, I just haven't been able to muster up enough brain power to achieve my goal. I'm on the second last Module before I do my Exam. The one day I sat down to work on it, I was feeling moderately well enough and I soared through the first half of the module. The second half, contains a lot of projects I'm going to have to spend quite a long time on. And the due date, well I'm pretty sure it's already passed for the module.

Any tips on how to get rid of this gunky feeling in my head? I'm trying to get rid of a yeast overgrowth in my body and that is causing a lot of fatigue and lack of motivation, the baby is growing quite a bit as I am on my 11-12th week of Pregnancy.

I am just so overstressed. And the scorching heat outside isn't helping much.
I really want to complete as much of my schooling before my baby comes as possible, has anyone else struggled in the same sense as I am right now?

I'm open to talking about different things I can do to build up motivation as well as very interested in hearing about all your experiences! Thank you very much!

On days where I don't feel in the mind frame to get stuff done, I definitely suggest going somewhere study-specific where the environment helps. I had to do English from home, as well. I found that if I did it at home, my mind was always split between a million things, but if I took everything one day to a library, I ended up getting so much more done because just being there really got me in the mindframe.

Do you have a big library near you, where you could just sit and focus on it for a bit without distractions?

Hmm, there is a Library here in town but I've never been there before. I think it wouldn't be too shabby of an idea, getting out of the house may definitely help! Thanks for the advice =)

Try setting a time for yourself where you arent allowed to do anything else other than school work. Kinda like if you had to go to class. I second naivate idea as getting up to go somewhere to finish something helps to generate motivation.

That sounds like a pretty good idea. I think I'll try that. Maybe walking to the library would also be good in terms of exercise. I could hit two birds off with one stone!! I really hope I can do it. Thanks so much for the help. I'll try to set up a time when I can do it.

you can do it. I do all online classes just like you and with having 3 kids I find it hard to concentrate or get the motivation to finish school. keep going at it. you can do it!

I have this problem at work allll the time...my brain turns into fog, and I just cannot focus any more.

I find that taking a walk, and getting my body moveing really helps. I can go outside and walk the block....this generally helps me. I usually have to force myself out of my chair (I am also kinda tired these days). However, it definatly helps!!

Great, thanks =) I know how the tiredness feels. I'm definitely getting over the extremely tired part of my pregnancy, I've started to regain some of my energy but there's still some time before I can really know for sure if it's over. I'm gonna keep working at it, and hopefully even after the baby is born. I have a fair bit to do still.

You will do fine!

I find periodically I lose all motivation for my schoolwork. I do the same thing, hanging out at the library, because I find I can't get anything done at home.
Also, this might be just me but I find I often need to be moving in some way to keep my brain awake, like if I just sit completely still for too long my brain falls asleep. So even just snacking on almonds helps because it keeps my arm going. I refer to this as The Popcorn Effect because it's like watching a movie and snacking on popcorn. LOL! Sometimes it helps and sometimes I find it distracting.
