Well, we are re-instating this! The new email for donations is:

It goes into a paypal account which we have set up. Just PM the mod_squad if you are donating so we know.

Thanks!

Not to sound....well, however it is I might sound...but I was thinking of donating but then again I dont know who the money is going to or how, so maybe...could we have a page with maybe a first name of a mama, and a breif description of the need, and a thank you if she has recieved help in the past, and maybe a "goal" like,

Davina, from Iowa recently got hit by a car while riding a bike with her 2 year old son. She has lost her job and is unable to take her child to daycare because of a broken leg and lack of transportation. We want to fight the injustice and file a suit against the man who hit her. We have raised 200$ and our goal is 300$ for her to meet with an attorney who will file the paperwork and take it to the courts. Help us reach our goal, and fight back!

Then again, do mamas in need have to submit things to prove that they arent just some weirdo trying to get some cash? Have you guys helped some mamas out already? If so I would love to hear some stories posted up.

And I don't like the idea of people having to air out their business in exchange for help. I think most of the mamas this helps anyways, no one knows who they are except the people in charge, which is good, cause if I ever needed a helping hand I wouldn't want it to be like society, where it's at your expense and you have to air your laundry in front of whoever and face judgement or stigma. I'm sure the girls in charge don't just throw money at any unknown, and I trust their judgement.
