so heres a question, do you wear it? I don't unless I am going to work, because they write you up for not being clean and whatnot. But other then that I cannot stand to wear it.

Yes I wear deodorant and I reapply twice a day (after each shower.) I really don't have a body odor but I wear it because I just won't take the chance that I'll stink. It grosses me out when other people obviously stink. Especially if I have to work closely to them.

part of my OCD involves a thing about feeling dirty or smelly, so yes, I wear deodorant.
I put it on WAY too much, like 6 times a day.
I refuse to take my medication so I get to deal with quirks like that.

I wear deodorant every day cuz Im quite stinky and I cant stand being able to smell myself. I also cannot stand the feeling of the solid deodorant so i only use the patchouli kiss my face roll on.. it smells awesome and its pretty strong so it doubles as a perfume

Hehe, yup i DEF have to wear deoderant. I wear Secret clinical strength because i sweat a lot, and it's one of my little quirks that i can't stand sweaty pits... I'm really stinky too if i don't wear it, and i can't stand to think that i stink lol. Since i got pregnant, it's gotten worse too....damn hormones....

I don't but I maybe should. I just don't mind smelling human, but I guess some people mind my smell.

i do.

I use that crystal rock, it lasts like 5 years and rocks great and doesn't have that nasty fake smell ... you just don't sweat. Most deodorants have bad chemicals in them that aren't good for you.

i usually dont sweat a lot or anything so i usually only use deodarant on days i know ill be doing something physical or in the summer

i like the way my dove babypowder antiperspirant smells. I'm someone who finds a product they like, and always buys the same thing over and over.
My BD is allergic to a lot of deoderants, so I bought him that rocksalt (5year lasting) thing and he complained all the time that it wasnt strong enough for him and didnt last long.

I hardly ever wear deoderant. It's just not that hot here and I don't sweat a lot. Also, I'm not a fan of chemical scents, they kind of make me a bit nauseaous. If I do wear it, it's a spray on one and I try to buy fragrance free. I like tyroneasaurus' idea about the patchouli thing, I'm gonna see if I can find that anywhere.

I dont wear it either. It gets pretty hot here but its not for me. the smell of it is way worse than any smell I make (not that I can really tell, my sense of smell aint very good)

Me neither! I went to my doctor a few years back because I thought I wasn't "normal". I don't sweat profusely like other women, and I seriously thought something was wrong with me. My doctor said some women just don't sweat that much. On special occasions, I will wear it...like going out somewhere fancy, or family gatherings, I will wear that Secret clear gel stuff in wildberry or peach...the blue one that has a sparkly label, lol.

I wear LUSH's patchouli stuff... for "hippy armpits" everyday. ANd I must say I was really impressed... I have tried lots of natural stuff, and haven't liked it... but this stuff, is good!
And I wear Dove Baby Powder on occasions where I need something stronger. I used to wear it more until I was writing at a dance competition and my pump would not work... so I had to suck some milk out of my own breast... sorry if that's TMI.... but I had been there going on 12 hours, and was like WAY past my 3rd breastfeed! And the milk tasted like aluminum... which really scared me.
Aislynn has never seemed to notice... apparently Neil knew all along....
So from that point on I saved it for special occassions.... very special occasions... in fact I haven't wore it since....

The only thing guy-ish I wear is Adidas for men. It smells gooooooooood, and it's pretty strong, and it's cheap! $8 a bottle at Wal Mart!

Submitted by naivete on Fri, 05/25/2007 - 8:38pm.

I wear men's deodorant too. I can't STAND floral smells, so most female deodorant makes me gag. But I wear Old Spice deodorant =D I've worn the cologne before too. I like musky smells.
But I gotta say I hate the smell of body odor up close. Natural sure, and when you're outside, who cares, but I think when you're in certain situations it's just polite, like when I have to take the train every day in +30 weather and my face is literally 2 inches away from some guy's armpit. In that case I'd rather smell a little Adidas or Old Spice then body odor.

Almost all major, mass produced deodorants have aluminum as the main ingredient which is a cancer causing agent and with prolonged exposure, like everyday use, it's a major hazard. There are so many lymph nodes in the underarm that I am way to paranoid to ever use deodorant with aluminum.
I don't usually use it anyway but if I do need to, I use Tom's all natural, aluminum free or some variety of it.

Submitted by erinn on Sun, 06/08/2008 - 4:28pm.

i cant stand the floral smell either.. i dont use it daily.. but sometimes/somedays i really feel the need.. and i really love the smell of sweaty men!!!

I live in the desert so hell yes I wear deodorant! I usually use Tom's or some other all natural one I found. I don't like the crystal bars, but the clear spray that is similar to the rocks are good.

Submitted by MamaButterfly on Sun, 06/08/2008 - 7:29pm.

I don't. I don't mind that I stink sometimes.
