Congrats on the boy! Novao is okay but I think people would have a hard time pronouncing it. Maybe you could use it as a middle name instad as a comprimise?

Middle name will be steven after my dad.. i can see the potential pronunciation issues, but im not so worried about that.. Tevian is even harder for people to figure out. My issue is its so close to Nevaeh which is way to popular and normal for my taste.. I want something unique and with a v in it, and flows well with Tevian and Avalon.. which is proving to be easier said than done..
and I should probably mention, if we do settle on Novao, he will go by Nova for a nickname.

CONGRATS MAMA!
I like it... It's so hard when your previous kid(s) have cool names and you want to stick with unique, but still have the names seem like they are kids in the same family!
I like the idea of continuing the 'v.'
Pronouncation is always an issue, but I wouldn't let that hold me back from using a name that I liked...(So far it hasn't... and some family members are still struggling with Aislynn! BUT, SHE can say it, so that's all that matters! )
You have some time, so roll with it...
You will know if it's the right name or not...

I like Nova as a name.
Other 'v' names I can think of:
Levi
Alvin
Alva (Edison's middle name)
