I had my baby!

Novayo Steven was born at 32 weeks 1 day on Thursday November 6, 2008 at 12:51 pm. He weighed 4 lbs 2 ozs and was 16 3/4 inches long. He's in NICU but doing pretty well. He's had some issues with his breathing, tho thats to be expected considering he is 8 weeks early.. he's breathing on his own, but for now he's on CPAP to help keep his lungs open. He's currently tube fed, but up to 35 ml of breastmilk per feeding.
I ended up having another partial placental abruption so they went ahead and stopped the magnesium and broke my water at 11:30 am.. I was at 3-4 cm and just an hour and 20 minutes later he was born with a single push! I also had a natural birth
I came home Saturday and its great to be free again.. altho it would be even better if I had my baby with me And its hard because he is an hour away so I dont get to see him as often as I like.. so for now the biggest thing I can do for him is pump, pump, and pump some more. So far Ive been able to get enough milk that they arent having to supplement with formula, which makes me very happy!!

Just wanted to update..
Baby Nova is doing GREAT! He's 5 weeks old today and he is being discharged tomorrow!! He's still receiving breastmilk (and my supply is awesome! Im pumping about 40 ozs a day and have probably 400-500 ounces of extra milk frozen for him!) He's up to 6 lbs 5 ozs and is getting chubby lil cheeks
Tew and Avi are very excited that their baby brother is finally coming home, and of course I'm elated too!!
